I haven't paid the money yet, but I am still driving the issue because I don't want to be slapped with a late fee and perhaps some bad credit ratings. Big companies like AT&T can just terminate the service to you and hire a collection agency to fry you, and most individual consumers just don't have any effective countermeasures. There is no consequence to them but pretty darn big ones for average Joe. That's why they can slap any fees they want and expect you to sort it out.

We thank Attorney General Van Hollen for doing the duty of ALL state and federal elected and appointed governmental officials - to represent and defend the will of the people. It is appalling that our governments feel they are above the people they serve and can work independently of them. That is tyranny and the United States of America was not made to work that way. We are grateful for your integrity and loyalty and are pleased to have you as our Wisconsin Attorney General, Attorney General Van Hollen.
Sincerely yours, Paul and Linda Ziemer
